Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure
CFB Basecamp is free to use. Running it costs money and time, and we cover that in two ways: by showing advertisements, and by earning a commission when you sign up for or buy something through certain links. This page explains both, plainly, so you always know when we might benefit from something you click.
Advertising
We display ads served by Google AdSense and may work with other advertising networks in the future. Advertisers pay the network, and the network pays us a share based on how ads are viewed or clicked. We do not choose the individual ads you see, and an ad appearing on the site is not an endorsement by us. Ads are labeled as such where the ad network requires it. Affiliate links
Some links on the site are affiliate links. If you click one and then register, deposit, subscribe, or make a purchase, we may receive a commission from that company at no extra cost to you. This includes, or may include, links to:
- Sportsbooks (for example, FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, or others) shown alongside betting lines.
- Streaming services (for example, ESPN, Peacock, Paramount+, Fox One, or others) shown in "where to watch" information.
- Other products or services relevant to watching college football.
Affiliate relationships never change what games we list, how kickoff times and networks are reported, or how our importance score is calculated. The score is driven by poll rankings, rivalries, conference games, and settings you control; no advertiser or affiliate has any input into it.
This disclosure is made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255).
About the betting lines
Point spreads and over/under totals on the site are shown for information and entertainment only. They are sourced from a third-party odds provider and reflect one sportsbook's line at the time our data was last updated, which is noted on the page. Lines move constantly. Always check the sportsbook itself before placing a wager. We are not a sportsbook, we do not accept wagers, and we make no guarantee that any line shown is current or accurate.
Sports betting is not legal everywhere and is restricted to adults of legal age where it is legal (21+ in most U.S. states). Nothing on this site is a recommendation to bet. Data sources and accuracy
Schedules, kickoff times, television and streaming listings, and poll rankings are compiled from publicly available sources including conference and network announcements, CBS Sports, the Associated Press, the USA Today Coaches Poll, and the College Football Playoff selection committee. We refresh the data regularly, but networks change kickoff windows, games get moved, and mistakes happen. Confirm with your TV provider or the network before you plan your Saturday around us.

CFB Basecamp is an independent, fan-run publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the University of Tennessee, the NCAA, the College Football Playoff, any athletic conference, team, television network, streaming service, sportsbook, or odds provider. All team names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
